MardiGrasOutlet.com guarantees that your order will be processed and shipped by the date quoted to you during your checkout process (usually the same day the order is placed, if placed before 3 PM Eastern Time, but the cutoff time varies depending on order volume). You will be provided with a shipment date and a scheduled delivery date during checkout. The easiest way to find out how long your order will take to arrive is to add items to your shopping cart and enter your zip code on the shopping cart page. The only exceptions to our guarantee are for orders with one of the following problems:
- Payment problems - Problems processing your payment will delay your order until we are able to contact you for a resolution. This will also include any order put on hold due to a fraud concern.
- Address problems - If we are unable to verify the accuracy of your shipment address, we will hold your order until we are able to contact you to verify your address. We will begin attempting to contact you immediately.
- Inventory problems - While our stock levels are updated in real time on this website, occassionally we find ourselves out of a product that has already been sold. We will try to contact you by phone and e-mail if this happens with your order. If unable to contact you immediately, we will hold your order for up to two business days in order to discuss a resolution with you. If unable to contact you within two days we will remove the problem item(s) from your order and ship the remaining items.
Our guarantee covers the processing, filling and shipment of your order, but not any delays while your package is in transit. UPS and FedEx guarantee all of the transit times quoted by our website. Approximately 3% of all shipments end up being delayed in transit by UPS or FedEx. Usually these delays are caused by bad weather or other circumstances out of the carrier's control. Any delay caused by bad weather, "Acts of God", natural disasters, or war are not covered by their guarantees. However, if the delay was due to an error on the part of the delivering carrier, they will refund the shipping charges to us upon request. The refund is made to our account and we will then refund you (also upon request).
We do not charge rush order fees, nor do we have an order minimum.

Regarding Dimensional Weight
You should note that some of our lightweight items such as decorations, stuffed animals, feather masks or plastic glasses may be subject to dimensional weight charges due to the box size they require. When dimensional weight applies to your order the total weight of your order displayed will be higher than the actual weight of the product. It will be based on the total dimensional weight of your order. The UPS definition of dimensional weight is as follows:
Dimensional weight is a standard formula used throughout the freight industry that considers density when determining charges. The calculations are used to consider the amount of space a package will take up on an aircraft or truck in relation to the actual weight of the package.
Required Delivery Dates
Customers who must have delivery of their merchandise by a certain date should supply us with that date on the "Delivery Notes" section during the checkout process or by e-mail after placing an order. If your order is shipping by air it is very important that you let us know your required delivery date in case there are any unforeseen delays. We don't want ANY unhappy customers! We will make every effort to ensure you get delivery in time. In cases where that is not possible with the selected delivery option, we will contact you with further options.
You can get a shipping quote for orders up to 2000 lbs by adding the products you want to your shopping cart and using the "Estimate Shipping" button. You will also be provided with a shipping price during the checkout process. Our shipping prices are based on transit distance and the total weight of your order, following discounted UPS or FedEx rates. This will provide you an ACCURATE and FAIR shipping price. (Beware of competitors who simply add the shipping charges to your invoice later -- beads are heavy and can be quite expensive to ship!)
Certain shipments are eligible for special "hundredweight" shipping prices. Orders eligible for hundredweight pricing are: Ground shipments over 150 lbs, and Air shipments over 100 lbs. These hundredweight prices can be significantly less (per pound) than regular charges, so consider ordering as much as possible at once to save yourself money. The hundredweight prices will be automatically calculated by our website so no special handling of your order is required.
We also ship by motor freight for orders over 2,000 lbs. A sales manager will contact you if your order requires this method of transport.
International orders are subject to an order minimum of $100.00, before freight. UPS and FedEx international shipping options will be displayed during the checkout process (before payment is required). Please note that we do not ship any orders via the Post Office. Unfortunately, express international shipping can be very expensive when any significant weight is involved, so this will usually be prohibitively expensive for cases of throw beads.
Please note that most international shipments will incur additional charges (above & beyond the shipping charges). These charges are collected upon delivery and will include brokerage fees, import duties, taxes, etc. The brokerage charges are assesed by FedEx or UPS, but the duties and taxes are assesed by your country of residence. Every country and every shipment varies significantly. We have no knowledge of what additional charges will be collected upon delivery, if any.
