MardiGrasOutlet.com guarantees that all merchandise is shipped free of defects**. Any broken merchandise should be reported to us immediately upon receipt.
PEAK SEASON: Absolutely no returns or will be accepted for sales made between JANUARY 1, 2013 and FEBRUARY 15, 2013. There will be no returns, exchanges, refunds or store credits for sales made during this period. Please be assured that this policy is not because we do not stand by our product -- we do. This policy is necessary due to high seasonal demand for our products, and is a common policy for any highly seasonal retailer.
All sales are ALWAYS final on costumes, novelty hats, and other apparel items. (You don't want to buy a costume that somebody else wore & returned, do you?) We will, however, accept exchange requests for costumes if returned within 48 hours of receipt.
For sales made outside of Peak Season: Requests must be made within 14 calendar days of delivery - no exceptions. Authorized returns will be accepted, but will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. The customer will also be responsible for shipping charges to and from the MardiGrasOutlet.com warehouse. To get authorization for a return, please log in to your account. From the account screen, select ORDER HISTORY and click "request refund" after selecting the applicable invoice. You may also request for return authorization by e-mail.
Orders which are refused at delivery (without prior authorization) will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
We reserve the right to refuse returns at our own discretion. However, if your return meets the following criteria it will generally be authorized: RMA Requested within 14 days of delivery, it is unopened merchandise, products are non-apparel items, and are regular priced items (no sale/clearance items).
Credits will be issued in the same manner as payment was made. Credit card purchases will be credit to the same credit card. Check or Money Order payments will be refunded by Company Check. Credits will be issued within 5 business days of receipt of returned merchandise.
** - Please note that when purchasing throw beads by the case there is an acceptable level of breakage. These products are made at the lowest price possible -- they are made to be given/thrown away -- so they will not be 100% perfect 100% of the time. In order to keep prices reasonable we must all accept a small defect percentage. Because of the 20% discount we offer when purchasing by the case, we ask you to accept up to a 5% defect rate. The vast majority of cases shipped will have a much lower defect rate of less than 4%. Many will have no damage or defects. Damage percentages are often directly correlated to the size and length of the throw beads in question. Bigger and longer (and therefore heavier) necklaces are the most likely to experience some breakage in transit, and throw beads must travel a long way: from the Chinese factories to us, and from us to your door!
