 Our Purple & Gold HotBeads are a fantastic way to show your team or corporate colors -- in the day or at night. They were a huge hit for the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl when LSU won the College Football National Championship.
HotBeads, which can be seen at night from a distance of three city blocks, incorporate light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The LEDs are housed within beads positioned around the bottom half of the necklace. Rendered in colored translucent plastic, these "hot" beads--think of them as mini strobe lights--are faceted to enhance the sparkling LEDs.
The circuitry, along with three replaceable watch batteries, is contained within a small, specially molded module that rests comfortably against the back of the neck. They have an on/off switch, and the replaceable batteries last for approximately 30 hours.
