Description:

Mam Papaul's crawfish pie filing or crawfish dip mix makes this South Louisiana favorite easy to create at home! Add shrimp or crawfish for a crowd pleasing dip or pie filling.

Crawfish/Shrimp Pie is a favorite dish in South Louisiana. So much so that a song was written about it. Use a prepared pie crust along with this filing mix to create a fast dinner of Crawfish or Shrimp Pie. For a party, prepare the filling as a delicious seafood dip. Serve with mini toast points, pastry shells or hearty crackers.

The original Mam Papaul was know for her culinary skills and hospitality. She could always be counted on to greet unexpected guests with a warm embrace and a plate of one of her Creole specialties. This mix is based on one of her original recipes so you can bring a slice of that Creole goodness to your home.

Mam Papaul recommends crawfish or shrimp in this recipe. It can also be made with chicken, crab meat, catfish or lobster. Mix ingredients include: wheat flour, onion powder, salt, bell pepper, paprika, spices and natural flavors.
