Description:

An elegant gold velvet box with a gold Fleur de Lis zardozi applique on the front of the hinged top. Measures 5" x 5".

Plush gold velvet covers the outside of this box. Gold satin lines the inside. The gold applique on the top of this velvet box is meticulously handcrafted in zardozi style embroidery with metallic gold thread. Small satin loop on the lid provides a handle.

The Zardozi embroidery tradition of the past, literally translates from Persian to mean "sewing with gold". There are only a limited number of crafstmen in the world dedicated to this labor of love. Each applique is unique and no two pieces are identical, making this collectible yours to cherish and pass on for generations.

Hand-crafted in India.
