The roulette wheel has 12 red LEDs which light up in a spinning pattern when a button on the back is pressed. Each time a light comes on, a beep is emitted. The sound and lights, which emulate the ball on a roulette wheel, start fast and begin to slow down after a few seconds. The lights finally stop at a (somewhat) random position and the medallion emits beeps in rapid succession to notify you of the 'winning' number.
